Who is Huntington Expression Prep?
Huntington Expression Prep (HEP) is one of the top ten basketball programs in the nation and features some of the top high school level players in the world, including 2013 graduate Andrew Wiggins.[5]
Huntington Expression Prep was founded by Coach Rob Fulford and his team including then assistant coach Arkell Bruce who currently presides as Head Coach today.
The program structure and day to day operations are led by Pastor Kevin West of Expression Church and Expression Prep Academy and Head Coach Arkell Bruce.
All students are considered NCAA Division I prospects[6] and are recruited by some of the top programs in the country.

AUGUST
- Skills development and Strength Training
SEPTEMBER
- Orientation
- Training camp (3 week evaluation period for all players)
- Strength training emphasizing hypertrophy based principles
- Performance & NBA style Combine testing
- Start of fall basketball league
- Open practices for college coaches, averaging 70+ coaches per year
OCTOBER
- Team practices with tactical & skill development with 2-3 individual workouts per week
- Individual development plans distributed to players and parents
NOVEMBER - FEBRUARY
- In-season games begin
- Continued skill development
- Narrowing college choices/list*
- Individual development plans
MARCH - APRIL
- Emphasis on strength development after game season
- Individualized skill development training
- Focus on skills training
- Finalize college selections and enrollment paperwork
MAY
- Final player evaluations
- Summer training plan distributed
- Strength training emphasizing hypertrophy based principles
